Research

The Physicians of Digestive Health Associates of Texas, P.A. participate in a variety of clinical research projects. These projects involve the use of experimental therapies and diagnostic tests in order to advance knowledge about the treatment and evaluation of gastrointestinal and liver problems. Patients may be eligible to be research subjects in any of the following areas of active investigation:

Bleeding peptic ulcer

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

Celiac disease (sprue)

Microscopic colitis

Constipation

Primary biliary cirrhosis

Crohn's disease

Primary sclerosing cholangitis
