I have been with DHAT since it was formed in 1996. I am currently the immediate past president for the American College of Gastroenterology. I have always been involved in organized medicine in an effort to be involved in shaping our healthcare system and fighting for what is right for the best in patient care. My hobbies are playing golf with my wife on weekends (she is the better golfer) and fishing (I have her there).
Quality patient care to me, involves making the patient an active participant in their own care. This is accomplished by first listening in depth to the individual, coming up with a mutually agreed upon treatment plan and educating the patient in regards to the underlying disease process. I have been with DHAT for 20 years.
One interesting thing that people may not know about me is that all my siblings and father are doctors as well as 2 cousins, 1 uncle and 2 brother in laws. I enjoy biking, playing basketball and walking the dog.
I deliver quality medical care through adhering to safety, efficacy, reliability, timely, efficiency and patient centered. I provide feedback to my patients by communicating to them as I would want to be if I were in their position.
I have been with DHAT now 13 years. I am a semi-pro bass angler.I enjoy anything related to a lake. I am an avid Dallas Cowboys fan (interestingly, my wife is a Green Bay Packer fanatic). I love sushi!
I strive to bring the most current knowledge, the latest technology, and the utmost compassion to each and every one of my patients. I have been with DHAT over 14 years. I run an annual tennis charity event raises significant money for local charities/causes.
My three favorite things to do are spend time with wife and 3 kids, play tennis and play piano.
I have been with DHAT for 8 years. I belong to numerous affiliations including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. Outside of Medicine,
I enjoy sports, traveling and spending time with my wife and two kids.
