Colonoscopy is a procedure in which a flexible guided tube with a lighted digital camera is passed through the rectum for direct examination of the entire large bowel (colon).


Conscious Sedation is the intravenous injection of medication that sedates the patient for procedures to essentially eliminate discomfort.


EGD (Esophogastroduodenoscopy) is a procedure in which a flexible guided tube with a lighted digital camera is passed through the mouth into the esophagus, stomach and upper portion of the small intestine for direct examination of those parts of the GI system.


Flexible Sigmoidoscopy is a procedure in which a flexible lighted tube is passed through the rectum for direct examination of the lower 1 to 2 feet of the large intestine (colon).


Placement of PEG (Percutaneous Gastrostomy tube) is a procedure in which a tube is passed from the stomach through the skin to assist in delivering nutrition or medications for patients who are unable to swallow adequately.
